Bahamas Yacht Charters

The Bahamas stretch like a strand of pearls across 500 miles of aqua sea. Whether you enjoy beach-combing, snorkeling, scuba diving, or fishing, you’ll find something to do in the islands on your Bahamas Yacht Charters. Below, you’ll find the major islands to visit in the Bahamas.

Berry Islands

A cluster of 30 cays southeast of Bimini, of which only two are inhabited. A popular fishing destination, the Berry Islands are known for remote beaches and premiere game fishing at top spots like Chub Cay. Cliff diving spots and coves for snorkeling can also be found throughout the Berry Islands.

Exumas

Stunning islands home to the famous swimming pigs. Scuba diving is exceptional here, especially around the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park. Next, you can head to Major Cay to swim with pigs or explore the sandy beaches. In addition, the capital of George Town is a perfect stop for sampling the delectable local cuisine. The Exumas are genuinely a no-brainer when contemplating Bahamas yacht charters.

Abacos

The Abaco Islands are a group of islands and barrier cays in the northern Bahamas, east of southern Florida. Dive sites include Pelican Cays Land and Sea Park, with its underwater caves and colorful coral reefs. Turtles, eagle rays, and sharks populate Walker’s Cay National Park in the far northwest. Since the waters here are shallow and navigable, it’s an excellent area for sailing. You can also view the Islands’ past in Hope Town, or Man-O-War Cay, home of their traditional wooden boats.

Harbour Island

This island was once the capital of the Bahamas. It’s known for its Nantucket-like architecture and gorgeous beaches. The juxtaposition of colonial buildings alongside pink sands beach creates a magical atmosphere that is not easily forgotten.

Eleuthera

Eleuthera forms a part of the Great Bahamas Bank. Indeed the island offers pink-sand beaches and colorful coral reefs and is also home to pineapple farms. A visit to Eleuthera is not complete without a stop at the stunning Glass Window Bridge, the convergence of light and dark seas.

Spanish Wells

Pristine and peaceful Spanish Wells is a delightful place. Indeed it’s perfect for fishing, snorkeling, and diving—look out for sea turtles, an abundance of fish, and welcoming locals.

You will need many weeks, even months, to explore these islands on a Bahamas Yacht Charters vacation.
